GO (ook bekend als Golang) is een programmeertaal die in 2009 door Google is ontwikkeld. Ze werd ontwikkeld om een taal te creëren die snel, efficiënt en gemakkelijk te programmeren is. Bij webontwikkeling wordt GO vaak gebruikt om server-side toepassingen te maken. Het is vooral nuttig voor het maken van webapplicaties die veel gelijktijdige verzoeken moeten verwerken, omdat het goed schaalt en hoge prestaties levert. Het heeft ook een uitstekende standaardbibliotheek die het ontwikkelaars gemakkelijk maakt om webapplicaties te maken.
